PRIVACY

Top 3 points on Privacy

  1. You control your data. We think products are more enjoyable to use if you know that you’re in control of your data.

  2. Your data is never sold. We think your data is yours, and that is why it is never sold.

  3. We design the products we want to use ourselves. We have tried to design Go to be as open, fair, and transparent as we can imagine. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve, we are always here to listen.

Information We Receive from Third Parties

Other Users. If you are another driver of a car of one of our users who has inquired about insurance through our Services, we may receive information about you through the inquiry and application process.

Credit. Go obtains and uses credit report information, including credit history and credit scores, only in states where we are permitted to do so by law. Information we obtain from such reports may be retained by us and disclosed to other persons as required or permitted by law. Credit-based insurance scores are based on information in your credit report. If Go obtains a credit-based insurance score as part of calculating your insurance quote, the inquiry is labeled as being from the insurance company. Insurance-related inquiries are not counted against your credit. If you obtain your credit report from one of the major credit bureaus you will be able to see the inquiry, but it will not lower your score or impact your ability to obtain credit.

Background Checks. We work with third-party background check partners to perform background checks on users who want to use our insurance service. In connection with these background checks, we receive publicly available information such as driving records and criminal records from state and federal government agencies.
